CONSERVATIVE DENTISTRY
Metal is one of the great aesthetic problems that many of the old restorations or prostheses have. It is very common to see covers, crowns or bridges with a dark border along the gum. At A2 Dental, we perform any type of restoration with an alternative metal-free material, such as high-strength ceramics (zirconium, lithium disilicate, amongst others …) to obtain more lasting aesthetic results over time.
At A2 Dental we have a very conservative and minimally invasive philosophy when working on the teeth. Many of the restorations we do require minimal tooth preparation so that we conserve as much natural tooth as possible.
What is an Inlay or Onlay?
When the loss of tooth structure is too big to do a conventional filling with good prognostic, but still has enough healthy tooth structure to avoid having to do a full crown, the ideal solution is a Inlay or Onlay. The advantages are that it is a minimally invasive treatment with maximum aesthetics. You can see some examples of these treatments here.
